Hello there! Welcome to my academic commons website. My name is Martin Vanegas and I am currently in my second year of Physician Assistant school at CUNY York College. I grew up in queens and graduated from City College of New York with honors and a bachelors in Biology with a focus in medicine. I have worked as an EMT and as a medical scribe before PA school. These jobs helped me understand how the medical field functions and where PAs stand to help bridge gaps in healthcare. I’m constantly learning and applying my knowledge in various medical settings throughout my rotations to improve and succeed as a future medical provider.
